This week is the final week of classes, and the begining of exam week. So, I have been spending a lot of time in the Library, so much time in fact, that I decided to make a post about it. I love old books, they have the coolest covers, smell historical, and really make you travel back in time. Why don't they bind books the way they used to?

Music: Tom Knight - The Library Song

  • a CARD CATALOG! i'm so glad some libraries still have those.

the gopher scenes are hilarious. good job!

  • like annie said, the gopher scene is pure gold! plus, great choice of books. everytime I'm in a library or bookstore I always find myself going back to my favorite books and just finding where my favorite passages are in each edition. I just can't help myself.
    greatness as usual Josh!

  • josh, this vlog post was so good that i decided to build a shrine to you in my living room. i cut out a few choice "photos" from your vlog. mostly they are of you in your various poses. i love watching you from arm's length - that angle is the best. keep up the good work josh!

  • I really liked all the images of books, but I hated that song - it seemed to trivialize it. I mean, are libraries only delightful for children? And, it sort of bugs me when people aestheticise (is that a word?) stuff for nostalgia or whatever reason - I mean, books are there to be read or whatever - anyway - that's my comment.

  • dear josh.

if i was invisible then i could just watch you in your room.

if hearts were unbreakable then i could just tell you where i stand.

  • I remember having The Stinky CHeese Man on my shelf as a kid. [I think it's still at home.]

I loved those retold fairy tales.

    Thanks for the memories, Josh.
